Hi all,
I have downloaded the suspended flooring with insulation BIM object and is downloaded as a Revit Project File.
I don't know how to use this file in my own project.
Can anyone please guide me?
Thanks
Solved! Go to Solution.
in a new Project (with both projects opened), use Manage>Transfer Project Standards and choose from the Floors File only Floors..

Thank you.
And from there?

It is loaded in my project, but I still can't use it, or I don't know how.
I need to replace those steel beams that you see with this wooden structure
you have a Beam System that sustains the Floor ...I suppose you haven't a loaded wooden Beam Family into your Project , so you have to load one from your Revit Library...
Have a look at my screencast (As I have not a loaded a Revit 2025 Library I've used a Revit 2021 Library)
This is a modal window.
Beginning of dialog window. Escape will cancel and close the window.

Thank you very much for taking time to make a video, but I want to use BIM Objects, and this still not showing me how to use that BIM object I added as a first attachement.
Loaded as Group into another Project. Now create a Floor just as you would create any Floor using one of the Floor Types loaded into Project.

if you expect that the Floors from the file you have downloaded ,to be true 3d Models then you will be disappointed..
They are not , and they usually are so. Have a look at my screenshot and you will see they are just materials...
If you want to make a true 3 d Model then you have to proceed as I shown in my previous post (screencast) and use Parts for the Layers...
how are your Floors made.:
