Navisworks nwd coordination model invisible in revit?

I need to grab this nwd model and import it into revit as a reference for ongoing changes. When I go to link it as a coordination model it's invisible, and all other file types I try won't work either. Suggestions beyond the typical "is is checked under the visibility tab?"

Hmm? Maybe it's there, but far, far away?  

...does Zoom to Fit show anything? Anything at all?  Your model as well?

Often the coordination model won't show up in realistic mode. Check and see if you have the model set to shaded, hidden or consistent.
