Mutli-Value (Material) Parameter

Is it possible to create a single (material) parameter with multiple values?

I want the name of the material parameter to represent the material category (e.g., wood) and I want the value to represent the material type / finish (e.g., walnut). I want to create a material category (name) with multiple material types (values). For example, I want to create a single material parameter where 'name = wood' but where the value varies (e.g., value = 'walnut' OR value = 'maple' OR value = 'mahogany' etc.).

Please see the attached images for more clarification on this.

Thank you in advance!

For what purpose? Revit has all those assets and they can be shared among multiple Materials.

No, it's just not how Revit works. Best option is to use this strategy for the naming of your materials like: category_value

You can add a new parameter to the Materials category and use it to write the common "name" of various materials on a schedule or tags.
