multistory stair with landing connecting the two

How do I get the stringer to connect at the landing?

I drew it as a stair up to the mezzanine level, then made it multistory to get to the second level.  Then I added a landing on the top of the bottom stair.

Don't do multi-story. Draw it continuous with landings.

Ok!  I have tried this before and it's tough because I have to draw runs directly one above another.  Is there a good trick to doing this?

I don't know about any tricks.  Just sketch it in Plan View and set the Base and Top Level.

what I end up doing is drawing the 3rd and 4th run outside of the first two.  Then I move them directly above the first two.  Is there a better method?  It feels odd doing this.

nevermind, it seems you can draw them right on top of eachother.

I just sketch mine in one fell swoop in Plan View by drawing runs on top of each other.  Of course, first I set my top and bottom level .  If you added an extra step or two, and ended the same result, then so be it.
