Multi-family project schedule unit types

We are beginning a multi-family project.  At this stage we are just doing some massing studies to determine how many units we can fit on the site.  We have a conceptual mass family loaded into the project.  Just a simple rectangle to show the overall boundary of a unit.  The family has parameters that we can flex to generate types within the family.  We layout the first level of a building and and then copy the units to each level to generate the unit "stack".  We select all instances of the mass family and generate mass floors.  The project will consist of several hundred units.

Now we are trying to do some scheduling against the mass "units".  What we need to show in the schedule is the following:

Building----Unit Type----Count----Individual Unit Sq. Ft.----Total Unit Sq. Ft.

Total Unit Sq. Ft. would have a grand total at the bottom of each building group

We would group by building.  At this stage we only have two different building types, just replicated all over the property.  Building I would imagine can be a parameter added to the mass family?  

The main issue I am having is attempting to show the count, Individual unit SF and total unit SF.  I don't want to itemize every instance because that would create a massive schedule with a lot of repetitive information.  

Any suggestions on how I can get this schedule to work?  I have been searching for a while and can't find this situation...

It sound straight forward.  Your schedule would look like below:

Except when I have the count parameter in the schedule, I can't get the individual unit sq. ft.  What I get is this:

Building----Unit Type----Count----Gross Floor Area----

Bldg 1

Type A                                12           12000

Total Type A Sq. Ft.                           12000

Type B                                10           9000

Total Type B Sq. Ft.                           9000

Total Bldg 1                         22          21000   

Revit only has the gross floor area as a built-in parameter.  And it always totals them up unless you itemize every instance.  I can't seem to figure out how to list both square footage values (specifically the individual mass sq. footage.)  Unless I'm missing something in the properties for the schedule.  I know you can't do a calculated value against the count (That would be the easy way in my mind...).

Add a calculated value parameter = Unit Area and do not set Calculate total.  Use it to report Unit Area.  Hide the actual Unit Area column but the Total Area at the bottom will still show.

Worked!  Added a field as a calculated value, used area as the type.  For the formula I used the Gross Building Area field.
