Modify/Grids - Propagate Extents not available in all plan views

Hi all,

I have multiple plans with no crop or scope box applied. I have created the grids in one view, selected them and clicked Modify/Grids - Propagate Extents.. 

To my surprise, those plan views do not appear and are not available! Nigthmare!

Help more than appreciated

I think you are using the wrong vernacular.  Do you mean you placed a Level in Elevation View and expected a Plan View to be automatically created from the Level. To create a Plan View from the Level, you need to go to View Tab=>Plan Views=>Floor Plan and then select the Level you want a Plan View created for.

- Must be 2D grids. (no point if the grids are 3D is it?)
- All views including source and target must not cropped.

yes!! it was that the source and target views must not be cropped. at least for me, this was my issue for the past decade! Thanks!!!
