Modify Family Templates

  Is it possible to open one of the .rft the is ootb and add other parameters to it then resave so that when we use that template for future family creation the company parameters are already in place?

If you load a template, add parameters etc and then save as a family, that will work. When designing a new family you load this empty family with the company parameters. You also can change the extension from .rfa to .rft, than it will work as new template file
