I have a lot (150+) of existing families that I need to add 4 - 5 shared parameters to each one. Can anybody think of a faster way to do this other than open each one and manually add each shared parameter?

If you are on subscription than you can download 'Revit Extensions for Revit 20xx' (not yet available for Revit 2016) and in there is a function Shared/Project Parameters which does exactly that (found after installation under "Extensions", "Tools", "Shared/Project Parameters”)

You can select which parameters to add. It is able to add those parameters to many families at once. It only does not fill the parameters with data. Then you probably would have to go to a separate (paid) app.

I have an IS person ready to install Revit 2016 on my machine. We are now looking for the Revit Extensions to load with them. We are on subscription but we cannot find them on the subscription page. i had read in a forum that were going to be on the autodesk exchange page from here on out.

Could somebody please direct me to where they are located or if they have been released yet.

It will arrive after the installation as an update. The Autodesk Application Manager (installed with Revit) will notify you when available.
