Modify DWG/DXF Export Setup_differents colors for the same layer

Is it possible to apply different colors to the same layers in Export Setup? Our client only wants dwg files and we only work in Revit and it has its own layer configuration (which is very simple if not too simple)

The video on this page of the help and the topics related to this page explain how you can alter the export of DWG files/layers.

Thanks but i've already saw that video ant it doesn't show what i want to do.

Example: My ceiling category has to be export on the layer AAPLF. Every ceiling subcategories should be on that same layer but the color must change depending of wich subcategory it is to create different lineweight. Every time i change a color ID, every other category associated to this layer get the same color modification

I hesitated to accept that answer... Come on we want to go on Mars and we cannot apply 2 color to a same layer!

Thanks

You cannot do it Revit.  But you can create a LISP or script to get the desired outcome in AutoCAD.

You can kind of do it, by applying a visibility and graphics override to a subcategory in a view, then when you export the view to DWG the category will be assigned "ByLayer" and the override (your other color) will be assigned "ByEntity". So if you went through and applied VG overrides to everything before export you would get the result you want, but it is not possible in the export setup. You have to go to the extra step of creating a view with VG overrides.
