Modeling family - Revolution

Hi everyone, I'm modeling with family and I have to deal with a portal.

I used the revolution extrusion to create a thick circle, now I just need to have the red part...

How can I do it?

Assign a Red material to the geometry's  "Material" property parameter. 

Wait a minute. What do you mean by "now I just need to have the red part"?

I would like to have just the red part, not the entire circle...
