Model won't show completely when in 3D view

Hello,

I'm a student and I am working on a model however theres an issue that I previously hadn't come across and needed some help.

Typically when I go into the 3D view of my model it would show the complete model as expected, however when I enter the 3d view, it only shows part of the model and I can only see it if I look from certain angles? I have tried playing with the section box but the issue still persists.

Any help is appreciated and any questions to clarify are welcome,

select "do not crop view" in tab below left corner
