Model Line vs Symbolic Line in family

The loadable family of passenger shelter was created and rectangle symbol should be generated to represent the size of shelter for plan production.

I would like to know “Model Line” or “Symbolic Line” is better to be adopted for creating the 2D symbol in my situation??

Symbol could be created by both types of Line in Plan View, but I need to turn the visibility off for the Model Line in 3D/Elevation Views. The pros and cons if I choose Symbolic Line?

do you want/need to see the lines in 3D/Elevations/Sections?

No - Symbolic Lines

Yes - Model Lines

That's about it for pros and cons.
