Model In Place void problem

I created a wall model using model in place and did void extrusion on 2 steps, the problem is during the "model in place" phase the model has no problems, but when I finish the model it becomes a set of rectangular planes as shown.Screenshot (87).pngScreenshot (88).png

Looks like you are trying to create a perforated brick wall...Maybe you want to try the suggestions on the following posts first

Wow! That's a little much.  How's all that closely grouped linework display in "normal" Views with Thin Lines turned OFF?  Betcha it ain't pretty.  Personally, I would save off that kind of detail for Detail Views and represent the brick symbolically with a simple crosshatch pattern in all other Views.   That's my two-cents worth.
