When I try to model something in place, it shows up somewhere other than where I specified when drawing it. It only does this when I click finish model.
I think this was the issue, but I'd like to mention that going back in to edit the model and trying to set a workplane didn't fix the issue. It only resolved when I scraped the whole thing and started over.
