missing textures on downloaded object when rendered

when i download a family, sometimes the textures are missing. in my case the plant shown below when rendered only appear grey (original textures were green), is there a way to add them back on revit?

Probably the category (planting?) has a material assigned in Object Styles manager (menu Manage/Settings/Object styles). If it isn't, look at V/G or elements overrides. In all cases, the category, view or instances must be free of overrides to show materials as they come from family.

Set the View Phase Filter to Show Complete.

BTW: Did the Family come with an Appearance Image. If so, Load the Image into your C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials\Textures\1\Mats Folder.
