Missing half of Generic Pattern Based family after loading into Mass

Hello everyone,

ScreenshotScreenshotI'm a beginner in Revit Conceptual Massing Enviroment (CME). I'm having a trouble while studying methods of creating some kind of spider glass panel (I don't know how to call it exactly, sorry for this) that would need your suggestions for the solutions. The problem is when I load the family into CME, the family worked well with flat surfaces, but after that it failed to adapt in curved surfaces and only created a half of the components as it supposed to do. I also try to push the component numbers up for a better chance but thing still doesn't work. I have included attachment files for you to have a look at.

Thank you very much for your attention. I appreciate all of your helps and advices.

Panels seems to work on a dome-shaped mass in the Project.  It did throw a few errors trying though, but those errors got resolved fairly effortlessly.

...try different justifications. That might do the trick.

Hi Bardbradley,

Thank you for your suggestion. I will try the trick as soon as I get to my computer. One more question please, Is there nothing wrong with the way I created the family?

Honestly, I didn't check the family. I didn't need to. It worked fine.

What was the fix, @cuemkt ?  Justification?

Thank you for your regards, barthbradley. Maybe I hit some button by accident so my comment was marked as the solution, please uncheck it if you can. Actually I didn't try to adapt to the face I want due to some urgent work. I will report the result once I get to my computer. Thank you so much.

Hi barthbradley,

I think I got some points for approaching to the solution. Things got better when I tried to load in my project’s curve surface (which is a little bit less curvy but more complex on the difference heigh of the points), only about 30 out of hundreds components missed instead of half as before. After that, I tried to remove the hangers and cable that held the glass panel, and everything went brilliantly. So the problems may come from the workflow of creating those components. I will work on it and try to go with an Adaptive Family for this case also. If it doesn’t bother too much, I will post the final result again once I finish the study.

Anyway, thank you so much for your help. I hope to see you in another topic. Best regards.
