Missing Components When Exporting Elements Only Visible in View Within Revit

Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on setting up hololens for my company and am trying to export revit files to ifc files. I've made 3D views with section boxes in order to export only the elements visible in the view. I'd like to avoid exporting the whole building as it'll take up more resources. As you can see in the following pictures, my 3D views in revit are exporting correctly when I upload them as revit files but the ifc isn't exporting correctly.

I've tried changing the detail level and going through the modify setup options. If anyone else has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

This is the 3D revit view I'm trying to export. It's a smaller section of the building which I'm using to reduce size.

This is what the file looks like when it's uploaded to trimble directly. Although its just a section, the whole file is being uploaded which equals 368 MB.

This is what revit is exporting as an ifc in the same view. It has the floor for the whole level and is missing multiple parts. The ifc is only 8 KB though and would be much easier to work with.

Try that link for more info..

Do you have linked model with revit? you might need to BIND it to get all elements from linked revit as well...

Cheers!
