Mirroring Framing Groups - Not Flipping Correctly

I use model groups for my roofs if they are symmetric. This can drastically increase workflow and reduce errors. However, when modeling framing members, the model groups do not mirror correctly as you can see here:

Notice how the far side gable end framing member is rotated incorrectly. I have posted this in the sturctural forum, but unfortunately, we were not able to get a solution for using model groups in this manner.
Here is another example where the members are not mirrored correctly. You can see the C channels are facing the same way. However, they should both be facing towards the ridge:

And lastly, you can see on the roof plan, the members are not flipped symmetrically about the ridge:

Again, I've posted this in the structural forums without any luck and I am hoping to get some answers here.
