I am having trouble modifying the materials in my wall structure.  When I click on the material under "Edit Structure", nothing happens.  So I thought that maybe my materials had been deleted from my model.  So I went to the manage tab and click on Materials under settings and no dialogue box appears for me to load materials into the model.  Does anyone know what could be the problem.

Thank You

Hi Viveka_CD,

I am attaching the revit file, not sure if this is what you meant.  Let me know if this works because I have never forwarded a Journal file to the forum before.

I have tried in other files as well and they all seem to be experiencing the same problem.  This has never been an issue before.  I have been able to change the structure of a wall until last week, when this mysteriously started happening.  Didn't download any new software or updates to Revit 2015.  Now it seems that this problem is a Revit issue and now simply a file issue.

There is the same known issue with Revit 2018 and several nVidia GeForce cards, but not 2015.  Still, I would give a shot at installing the nVidia GeForce driver version 353.62.

@richardACRNF I have been successfully able to manipulate materials for multiple walls and roof. Have you tried this file on another machine?

@Sahay_R I opened it on another machine in the office and it worked just fine.  So obviously it is something with my Revit.  Is this an issue that a reinstall will fix?

Does your machine have the exact same set up as the other machine?

Try an uninstall, and then a clean reinstall of Revit.

Hi @richardACRNF

Your revit model is fine.

As I've mentioned earlier you journal will help determine your system specifications.

Please try an audit and try reparing Revit. If that does not help try a reinstall, but please forward your journal file so I investigate further.

Thanks,
