Materials not showing up in 3D camera view

I have nice marble materials for my walls in my 3d view however they are showing up as grey

I am using shaded view

How can I see these for what they are(marble) and not grey

looks like you are working with Phasing, and use Show All phase filter ...Try to change to Show Complete phase filter

No that isn´t the problem

Edit the material, look at its Graphic tab, and modify as needed.  Appearance tab is only affecting realistic and rendered views.
