Hello everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me out with a problem I'm having with material takeoff in the new version of Revit.
I've found out that when I join a concrete beam to a wall it not only recalculates de volume of the layer I'm cutting, in this case, a CMU wall core, but it also affects the adjacent layers.
1. In this image the wall and beam are not joined. The material volume is presented correctly.
2. After I join the wall and the concrete beam the takeoff schedule is updated but besides changing the CMU core it also changes the volume value of the adjacent layers. And this beam has the same size as the CMU core it shouldn't change the other values.
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks! 😉
