Material takeoff shows incorrect values in volume | Revit 2022

Hello everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me out with a problem I'm having with material takeoff in the new version of Revit.

I've found out that when I join a concrete beam to a wall it not only recalculates de volume of the layer I'm cutting, in this case, a CMU wall core, but it also affects the adjacent layers.

 1. In this image the wall and beam are not joined. The material volume is presented correctly.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks! 😉

@raafa

You are not doing anything wrong...it is bugged in 2022.1...it has been reported (but if you feel like it you may want to report it as well)

  • You can work with parts for more accurate take off...
  • OR you can use Buildingbook under quantification

@RDAOU thanks for your quick reply. I'll be sure to report to Autodesk. I hope they can patch this quickly.
