Im trying to figure out how many 9' studs I need and how many 16' studs I need.

Is there a way to sort wall heights (even unconnected height) in the Material Takeoff?

Can I edit the Wall Family file?

Are you doing a Wall Schedule/Quantities or A Material Take Off?

This might be easier in Navisworks Manage if you have access to it.

Add Calculated Values as required. Think of Revit as a building calculator or a 3D spreadsheet. A keen understanding of Associativity will develop over time.
