Material Tag Override

I need to show a material tag for a recessed area, not visible in any elevation. I would like to override the material tag. Is this possible?

If the recessed area can be visible in another partial elevation, then create that new partial elevation, and tag that material there. It would be confusing to tag that in an elevation where that area is not visible.

I agree, however that isn't the standard my bosses want. Is it possible to do a material tag override?

If it is already fake then why not go all the way? Create a generic annotation symbol and place it.
