Managing Categories and Sheet Folders in the Project Browser

I've been tasked with revamping our current Revit project template and I want to clean up our View Categories and Sheet Folders. Is there a way to "see" all of this? Can I delete/rename them?

I'm assuming they will "go away" when nothing is using them. I see there are view categories I can choose that are not in the Project Browser. I assume they are still there because a View Template must call for them. I'll need to go through those, too.

Is there a tool or set of best practices to use for this sort of thing? It'd be amazing to be able to see all of these settings in one place so I can make easy work of sorting it all!

Thanks!

Matt

Hi Matt,

Go to Schedule/Quantities in project browser or under view tab. Select sheet list and view list to get details of all the views and sheets present in your project. Add required fields to get into schedules. You can easily clean and update multiple sheets/views.

Thanks,

Akash

At first I thought this wouldn't get me what I was after, but this is very helpful for sorting out the names of the Categories and Folders. Thanks!
