Making a PDF, preview is good, but the PDF's text is jibberish

Using Revit 2020, Making an Acrobat PDF, the preview is good, but the PDF's text is jibberish

 

Has anyone seen this before?

 

PLEASE HELP

Are you using any custom font or just Arial font? Upload the file so we can take a look and see if we encounter the same issue.

try to use another printer driver to print like BULLZIP and see if helps. thanks

Hi, 

 

I'm using a different font. But I've been using this font with revit for 5 years. The font is zekton rg

 

I attached the PDF with the jibberish text.

What PDF driver are you using? If you are using Adobe, you can change the font to Native truetype or Bitmap.

I usually diroot export, it will always work for me.

If I open the PDF the Lettertypes are ArialMT and Courier.

 

Depending on the printer change it's setting to include all lettertypes and/or  add the specific lettertype to always include, maybe that helps. (See attachment for sample)
