Make designs options more compatible with linked RVTS

It would be great to be able to select a link and change its design options types as instances (so that different variants can be shown within the same view). As well as this, having all of the different linked RVTs into schedules, and the schedules will also change accordingly for the design option types that are specified.

Yes, I understand it can be made possible via this workflow, however this would have to be done for every view which could be time consuming. What would be great is if all data linked into the schedules would change as well, just by simply changing the design option.

While you are waiting for the Idea approved, you could use the workflow below to apply Design Options setting for linked models across all Views in your main model, without affecting the Views' main Template.  It has been working for me.

Untick V/G Override RVT Links for all View Templates 

Create a new View Template with the custom Link Design Options. Untick all other items.Select all model Views from Browser and Apply View TemplateSelect the new Template and Apply properties of said Template. It will not remove the main View Template from the Views.
