Hi fellas!
We would like to "fool" Revit into showing only a "B" instead of "SECTION B - PART 1" & "SECTION B - PART 2" on our plans. Short names without their parts.
Is this somehow possible? We can't have the same view name on the parts ("B"). They're done as a main section with dependant views (on sheet they have to appear on top or beneath each other to fit)
Have you looked at using the "Title on Sheet" parameter?

would you be able to use Reference Other view option to place sections in different dependent views but they both point to the same section.

I might be misunderstanding you. But is that not what I show in my screenshot? You see on the sheet two views both named B. So both the same name and only the letter B.

The views aren't the real problem. We want the actual sections to show "B" on our plans (get rid of parts in the naming).
Two sections both showing B. Instead of "B1" & "B2" or similar.
I only get those labels inside the section family so I guess it's not possible?

I guess this could be one way of doing it... could be a bit tricky if sections are being moved though...
