Looking for a path of travel line

Looking for a path of travel line for Life Safety drawings.

One that produces straight and easily worked and moved P-line lines with a circle or point at the beginning and an arrow in the end point to indicate the end of the travel.

Tried to make one family, but unsuccessfully , most likely since I am not a very experienced Revit maker of these families.

The one available in Analyze/Path of Travel seemed promising, but then, once a few are added to the plan, are hard to manipulate and change as the work progresses, so that is why I am looking for a better one that work like the straight P-lines of AutoCAD.  It seems that the Revit Path of Travel family has not been refined to work smoothly (or it is me?)

Please advise if there is a place where a good one can be downloaded.

Use Revit's path of travel tool.  You can manually add nodes to the line by sketching detail lines first then right click the travel line and add points at detail line intersections.

You’ve highlighted a very common limitation with Revit’s Path of Travel tool. While it is useful for basic egress analysis, it can feel quite restrictive when compared to the flexibility of AutoCAD polylines, especially when frequent adjustments are required during design development. Unfortunately, Revit does not currently provide a true “P-line style” editable path with grips, custom start/end symbols, and easy reshaping once placed.

Most users either rely on the built-in Path of Travel tool despite its limitations, or create workaround solutions such as detail lines with symbolic annotations for start and end points. However, these approaches still lack the intelligence and ease of manipulation found in CAD workflows. Some users also explore Dynamo scripts or third-party add-ins from the Autodesk App Store, which can offer more control and customization for life safety diagrams.
