Export Dimentions Issue PDF or Print

Hello,

I'm using the inbuilt Title Sheets, but when export them to PDF, and do a measurement of mm in Adobe Reader to make sure they are to scale, the measurement is different.  The scale i'm using is 1:100 and the sheet is A4.

Even when I measure it directly in REVIT sheets, it reads 155.0 cm instead of 15500.  What's annoying is, i had it working fine a day or so ago - but now something changed and I don't know what? 🙄

Any help would be much appriacted becasue I'm so new to all this.  I've attached the screenshot from both REVIT and Adobe.

Hi,

Be sure that in session size you select "zoom: 100% size" and not Fit to Page.

Hi,

In Revit, check your Project Units if it's in mm (it's in Decimeters probably right now).

In Adobe: make sure you change the measurement scale in Adobe before measuring. You can do this by opening the Measurement tool and then right-clicking > Change Scale Ratio > change it to 1:100.

Thank you for your reply. I've tried this, selected A4 etc. but it's still the same. I had it working fine, but something has changed, and i don't know what 😞

This is where I was going wrong! - I changed the Scale Ratio in Adobe as you suggested, and I think you've solved it for me!

I'm not sure if this is related but I think I have been having similar issues for the past couple of years potentially.  I was recently informed that some of the sheets I have been exporting for school projects are not quite to scale and I can't figure out an answer.  I have been able to export 42"x30" sheets correctly using the default Autodesk/Revit titleblock but I haven't been able to get other sizes like 34x22, 22x17, 17x11, or 8.5x11 to export correctly to .pdf files in a way that other programs like Bluebeam or even AutoCAD can import.  

Included in the .zip are as many project files and exports as I can upload.  I started with a template and can't currently purge everything out of it to be able to upload the 34x, 22x, or 17x files but included should be .pdf files I created.  I verified the .pdf files were sized correctly in Chrome and Bluebeam.  I added dimensions in Bluebeam after setting an appropriate scale to get the measurements in Red.  The black dimensions are from the Revit projects.

A slight tangent, has anyone noticed that the Revit 2026 documentation says to export to .pdf files using "Fit to page" which results in an even less accurate .pdf file than the current issue I am having?

Just to re-iterate, my 42x30" sheet exports can be imported elsewhere correctly but my other sizes aren't working correctly.  I scaled a 10'x10' outer dimensioned wall multiple times on each sheet to explore this issue and try to come up with a solution but I have not been able to find one.

Here is some documentation for how to import a .pdf into AutoCAD just in case.  To import the 42x30 .pdf I have been using scale=12.

The Revit files are in 2026 so a newer version is unfortunately required.  I don't know how to reverse export but would be happy to do so if someone knows how to do it and it is needed. I'm happy to split this into a different post if this issue isn't the same as the starting conversation.  Please let me know!  Thank you in advanced for any help on this topic!
