Locking or constraining reference planes so they can be stretched together

I am looking for a way to tie reference plane ends together so that if I grip one reference plane end they all move with that one

Alternately, you can use a Scope Box similar to with Levels and Grids.  The reference planes will extend beyond the scope box by a fixed distance so it is manageable.

The question does not specify if the user wants to do that in the family editor or in the project. I was thinking the same thing, that it is for the family editor. And I wonder why the user wants to be have neatly aligned ends of reference planes. The ends don't mean much, since the planes have no endpoints.

It's not a matter of neatness, often times I have reference lines that get buried and I need to stretch them outside of the content and when you have 15  or more reference planes to stretch due to changes in the panel family it becomes time consuming.
