Local Changes not synchronized with central

Hello

I've been getting these messages for a while now when I try to close my model and I don't know why, so if anyone knows more about this I would appreciate some help.

But like I said, this meassage pop's up when I try to close the model and even if I do a synchronize now and after that I try to close the file it pop's up. And becasue I've synced before and choose "close the local file" I don't lose any progress cause I already synced. But something is messing with the model.

So anyone else getting this message?

Hello @Anonymous,

When you sync with the central file does it really sync the changes you have made?

If it does you might have a glitch in your local file.

What if you start your Revit and then open your central file. (Make sure the checkmark is on by "create local file".

This will create a new local file from your central file. Now override your old local file and see if your problem still exists when you work in your new local file.

I would really like to hear from you if this will solve your problem or if you have any more questions.

For all other Forum members, it would be nice if you mark the reply as a “Solution” when it answers your question.

Good Luck,
Niels Oomen

Yes when I sync with the central file the all the changes I've made sync, so nothing goes missing.

So I think that the problem is with the central file not the local, beacause I allways "create a new local" and override the old when I work in the model.

And I've also tried it with another user but still get the same thing.

First, make sure that everyone working on this central file saves their work and synchronize with central. Open a detached copy of the central file while checking audit, then save it and replace the original central file. Click "relinquish all mine" and close revit. Now open it again while checking create new local. Let me know how it goes..

I have had the same issue with Revit 2017.2, 17.0.1128.0. Have done all the normal things to mitigate, any solutions?

I've had the same problem in multiple models after upgrading a project from Revit 2014 to 2017.

The response I got from Autodesk:

"They are looking for a solution in the next Revit release, that would be the 2019 version. I will keep an eye on the developers progress and see, if it's possible to have a solution for the 2018 version as well. For 2017 there are currently no service packs planned, so it seems not likely there will be a change for the release you are currently working with..."

So we're stuck with it.
