Load Family - not there

Hello, I am having issues with Families loading.

Every time I want to place a door, or a component etc. there is nothing there for me to select.

I watch "how to" videos often and they say to select items that I don't have.

Is there a file that didn't download when I downloaded Revit?

example: I want to place a "break line" so I go to Annotate -  detail component - then the properties bar pops up and there are no family's loaded for me to select. but when I watch a youtube video, the guy has a bunch already loaded.

example two: I go to place a door, and I only have one option to choose from.  (Door-passage-single-flush 36"x84") Thats all I get. And if I try to import/load families, Theres no folders that have files of anything.

- Same for general furniture items, I don't have tables, sofas, desks. Nothing.

Revit has had several changes to families over the past couple years.  What year version of Revit are you working in?  You may be missing the step of where they are loading families in before their videos.

I currently have Revit 2022.

Back when I had Revit 2019, I used to have access to all kinds of already imported family's: residential doors, commercial doors, desks, chairs, etc. (I have since then gotten a new computer, so I now only have the 2022 version downloaded.)

- Download and install Revit 2022 content: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autodesk-revit-2022-co...

- or, Insert > Load Autodesk Family from cloud
