The bigger picture is that I have 3 Revit models linked into a master model. I am placing the same face based family on each of the models in various locations. I am working on placing the objects on 1 model at a time. While working on the specific model I turn off the other links. So I want the objects to disappear when those specific links are turned off. But still be visible in the same view for the links that are active. Its my understanding that by filtering them I would end up turning them all off unless I can filter a specific region only.
Can you hide objects using the hide elements feature and only have those elements hidden in the view template? Meaning if I change templates they would show up again, or is it hidden in the view type (i.e. plan view, 3D view).
The overall goal is to be able to go to visibility graphics and turn off the link and have the face based objects hide as well.
