Linking IFC from civl 3D to Revit 23

Hello everyone,

I am working in Autodesk Revit 2023 and need to link an IFC 2x3 file exported from Autodesk Civil 3D. The IFC file is correctly hosted in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

When I link the IFC into Revit, the model appears very far from the origin, likely due to georeferencing.

However, when I link the DWG exported from Civil 3D, Revit displays a prompt asking to align the model. After clicking “Align,” the file is positioned correctly.

My question is:

Is there a reliable workflow to link a georeferenced IFC into Revit so that it is placed correctly from the start, similar to the DWG alignment behavior?

Thank you.

Are the files exported from C3D sharing the same shared coordinates and site with Revit file?

As if not this might be the issue.
