Linked Structural Columns showing walls passing through them

Hello Everyone,

 

We are having graphics issues when linking Str models into Arc Models related to columns showing walls passing through them as illustrated below :

We are using floor Plans and the column family is pre cut in plan view :

Try changing the "Dicapline" feild in the view.

 

you may need to reconsider how you are modelling - are you proposing a wall passing through this column, or are you proposing a wall meets this stuctural column and a lining system wraps it?

If this column in linked model and you need only visual decision - you can use visibility/graphics override or filters and override walls and columns in black.

You can copy monitor the structural column to your model, join geometry with architectural walls to clean up the wall intersection.
