Linked Revit won't cut past certain height in plan

We have a linked revit model which in 3d view can be cut in section anywhere, but in plan, it refuses to have a cut plane below a certain amount from the ground floor while the rest of the model does. Please help. Thanks.

What is the Link's view range set to?

Maybe there is no element in the Link below that View Range?
