Linked MEP Model Lines

I have a linked in model and the pipe accessories are set to show on fine, but random lines show up that I cannot hide.

Looks like the symbol for the valve is set to be visible @ Fine Level. You'll need to edit the family, select the symbol elements, select Visibility Settings and uncheck Detail Level Fine. Load back into the project.

You can also turn off the model lines in the link V/G settings if you don't have edit permission for the linked model.
