Hi!
I have problems with a linked IFC. The structural model is made in Tekla, exported to IFC and then Link IFC is used inside Revit. This has worked great until we started using the tool Plan Region to display some parts of the plans in different Cut Planes, eg entrances with other levels and a huge theater. As soon as a Plan Region differs from the view settings in the View Range for the Cut plane, cut patterns on the structural models Walls disappear (see picture). But it only applies to Walls that have some kind of hole/void in itself, it can be for a door or ventilation duct. They also behave like you're viewing the walls completely from above (Projection), and no longer as a cut. Has anyone experienced this before and knows what it is all about?
If I delete all the plan regions the Walls show up correctly. Also if I change the Plane cut in the settings of the Plan regions so it's the same value as the Plane cut in View Range settings, the Walls shows properly. What's good to know is that the plan regions are not even close to this part of the building, but it seems like that doesn't matter. The moment we use those Plan Regions, the structural Walls from the Linked IFC shows up incorrect (as in the image with arrows).
