Draw a line at a specific angle

Hello.

Please excuse me for the stupid question, but anyone help me with info how to draw a simple detail line on a specific angle. When i point the first point of the line - length and angle bar appears but only the distance tab can be accessed - I can't switch to the angle one. How this can be done?

Thank you

You have to draw it as close to the angle as you want it to be then adjust afterwards with temporary dimensions or an actual dimension.  Zoom in some and you can get to more accuracy.

it looks like you haven't Snaps> Angular dimension snap increments - activated.

With these option it is much easier to choose the right angle.

The snap doesn't matter in this case- For example I want 27°. So I must create a line , or two and after that to change the angle between them and to delete one of the lines, when it should be available to be set while you drawing it... Unbelievable for a ''powerful'' design software like Revit...

Anyway, Thank you for all your help- really apreciate it!

Actually, snaps do matter in this case....because you can specify the "Angular dimension snap increments"   I think by default it is: 90.00° ; 45.00° ; 15.00° ; 5.00° ; 1.00°  but you can always add more if you want to snap to .25°.  I usually keep to a whole number so the 1° is enough.  When placing a line you just move the mouse cursor to the angle you want and click.  If it is a longer line where I can't zoom I place while zoomed then trim the lines when I zoom out.

So really Revit is a pretty capable drafting program....just don't get me and everyone else started about where the heck the snap between two points is...
