link file gridlines cannot see in slanted model

i have 3 linked files model (linked separately). the other model is a slanted position. i'm able to see all the gridlines in floor plan view but in section or elevation the slanted model gridlines doesn'tt not show. no viewtemplate assigned .thanks

Grid lines only show when they are perpendicular to the view.

Are your sections and elevation views oriented in orthogonal directions to the linked file's elevations? Datum elements are only visible in views perpendicular to their planes.

Are your V/G settings hiding them? Checked all rows in the Imported Categories tab.

Is that a DWG file that the grids are originally part of? If so, are the grid lines actually extending upwards in the CAD file? If they are not, then you would not see them in sections nor in elevations because they would be lying flat on the ground, similar to a parking stripe or other painted-on element.
