hi

i ever did this but i'm not able to repeat it on a new project

i have a DWG file (topographical map) that i'd like to insert to my project

but! i didn't succeed to insert it... my workflow (that i've ever tried) is to insert a Wbloc from the topographical, to move and rotate the inserted file then to acquire coordinate from that link, i can then insert the whole DWG by shared coordinates and it works great but...

i failed at the beginning of the workflow... when i try to insert my wbloc Revit tells me that "Geometry has extends greater tha 1E9 blablablah"

what did i miss?

Pretty common. Simple solution is to move the DWG to within 10 miles of the Revit Internal Origin.  Or, you could move the AutoCAD Element closer to the WCS Origin.

Here's something you might want to read. Very good information.
