Linework Tool - Stairs

I think I am going crazy because I would swear I have been able to do this in the past, but the linework tool isn't working for the top and bottom of my stairs. I've modeled the stairs to end on a run so that the stringer shows how we would like it and I typically hide the top run line, but when It won't let me select it. I can select the nosing line, but not the other side of the tread. Am I missing something or was there a change in Revit?

Hi,

Can you share that part of the model for checking? It should work properly.
As you can select parts you are not working with Design Options I was first thinking about.

So I figured it out. I needed to turn off 'Outlines' in the Visibility Graphics. Now I'm able to select that line with the linework tool in plan view.
