line weights

I've produced documentation for a simple housing project. The elevation page has four models of which the first two are perhaps perfect. The third drawing is wow!  as heavy as, the line weight is terrible, bold. The last elevation is somewhere in the middle. How can the first two views be fine the other two be so out in the one works ?

Sounds like VIEW SCALE.   Also, it sounds like the rude awakening that happens sometimes when you turn Off THIN LINES and realize that all that detail you modeled was for not - if you know what I mean.

... you can try several times changing settings... or you can try with this plugin from Bluebeam Revu

... to me is one of the best to work with revit for printing

... it will almost never gonna give you wide unwanted lines...

Do you have different lineweights for different scales?

Use a View Template to control the lineweights for typical view types, this keeps them all consistent.

Use Object Styles in the View Templates to adjust the lineweights to your liking.

If some of the views are shaded or have shadows turned on and other don't this could have some effect. If the sheets had to use raster processing instead of vector processing for some reason you might see blown out lineweights.
