I have up graded Revit LT 2019 to 2021. can anybody tell me where the libraries should be located when downloaded, I have checked on the control panel and they have downloaded, However, when I try to load a family they are not in the same place as in 2019 ( ie the left hand places panel ) do I need load them and if so where from. I am relatively new to Revit so any help would be appreciated.

Hi  williamsonkevin438,

There was a change in how the library content is installed with Revit 2021.

Project Templates are automatically installed, but family content is no longer installed as part of the Revit installation. To load this content,  directly from this link Autodesk Revit 2021 Content.

The link to Revit 2021 downloadable content does not appear to work. It essentially sends you to a "Page Not Found" screen. I have been unable to find where the content link should be. Everything in the forums point to the same broken link.

I don't think it is a path issue since trying to get to the content within "Revit Insert> Get Autodesk Content" sends me to the same link.

My current workaround is downloading the 2020 libraries and using them until I can figure out what's going on.
