Leader 45 Degree snap

How do I enable a 45 degree snap for leaders?  I see the 90 and 0 snap... but I need 45 so my drawing details do not look amateurish with random angle leader lines.  Thanks!

As far as I do know, Revit only has 0 and 90-degree snaps for leader lines, just eyeball the 45 degrees.

Yes, those are my settings.  However, those dont seem to affect leaders?  Its still only snapping to 0 or 90.  What is the disconnect here?  In addition, the arrow portion of the leader isnt snapping to anything at all.  Please help.

@b-L4R5-n That is just the way it is. Unfortunately, that is not really a solution but reality.

Are you not seeing a blue dash snap guide line between the leader you're placing and the leader above or below it? Using these snap lines you should be able to eyeball the placement and angle pretty precisely.

Guides appear, but there's no snapping to an angle.  I'm surprised that Revit cannot do something so simple and so widely considered a standard by so many firms.  "Eyeball" and "precision" are not the same thing.

1. Those firms aren't using Revit or haven't updated their standards since adopting Revit.

Please don't generalize things like this. If by "Those firms", you mean firms who have standards regarding the legibility and professionalism of their leaders and notes, then I have to say that we are using Revit. This comment was neither accurate or helpful.

@b-L4R5-n We typically use 15 or 30 degree leaders, but we have to eyeball them. I'm with you here. I would love to see a leader snap be implemented in Revit. It's weird that our engineers using AutoCAD have this feature, but Revit does not. Maybe there's a place to request features.

Your first post is to call someone out? This isn't going to go well, is it?

Have you considered that I wasn't trying to be helpful to you?

If your standard is to use a specific angle on your leaders and Revit isn't capable of it, maybe your standards need to be revised.

I stand by my comment. If a standard is required and the software isn't capable, there is a disconnect. One shouldn't have to jump through hoops to meet a standard. Standards should help expedite the process, not interfere with it.
