Layers in floor not visible in section

[NP---MD]

Hello all, 

I've added a finish layer and a substrate layer to my floor and was expecting to see these in section. 

They do not show.

I've checked: 

1. vis' graphics - no overrides there

2. model display is set to hidden line

3. I've set the hatch to every part of the material, ie cut, background, surface etc etc 

What else could it be? 

Any help appreciated

- set the view to Medium or Fine detail level

- set the view's phase filter to Show Complete

You sure you modified the floor that is being seen in that Section View?
