Large Revision Clouds Disappear

I'm working on a fairly large model and have to cloud a large portion of the view. When I draw 1 large revision bubble (with a lot of turns ie. not a rectangle) and click the green check to finish they disappear. However if I break them up into smaller sections (changing no settings/properties) they remain. Is there an issue with drawing rev bubbles too big and if so is there a way to turn off this feature?

the clouds will not appear if they extend past the view area.  Is your plan divided into multiple views?  Check your view and annotation crop.

That did it! I did not create the model initially and after discussing with the person who did, we concluded that this was the issue. Thanks.
