I am looking to purchase a laptop to run revit - this will make working from the office/home/anywhere remote a lot easier.
Is there anything in particular I need to look for when purchasing a laptop to run a program like Revit, with the plan being to purchase Enscape in the future?

I am based in Adelaide, South Australia

You want to purchase a type of laptop that is called a MOBILE WORKSTATION: not cheap, not every manufacturer makes one, they are not sexy, they are not super thin, they will not make Kylie Minogue swoon when she sees you holding one, but dang will they get the job done.

Unless you are a very very casual user (aka the markup guy) in which case anything else will do just fine.

System requirements for REVIT are here, you want to never go below the sections tagged as "performance" which are really what I would call "average" today in the year 2022 https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/System-req...
