Looking for some help re laptops please!
I'm a built environment student and was really disappointed when I started my course to find that my macbook pro was pretty much useless for the software we were using, particularly Revit - I should have done my research.
I've struggled to get any help with exactly what I need (in layman's terms), I appreciate for students it doesn't need to be all singing and dancing but I also don't want to waste another grand and a half on an Ok laptop only to find I need to upgrade in a few months or so. All of the threads on the forum seem to be from quite a few years ago, if anyone could recommend a good all rounder laptop I can take to college and use for modelling and rendering using AutoCAD suite/3DS Max/SketchUp/Adobe etc that would be amazing - thank you!
An example of a decent laptop without breaking your bank.
Also, don't buy Apple products in the first place. You're overpaying for equal if not worse hardware, and making yourself susceptible to their crappy business ethics.
