Hello everybody!
I have installed from Autodesk Desktop Manager the service pack and an update for Revit 2016. Right now I have the version number 16.0.1063.0.
After that, every first time I open the sw it is in a random language (Chinese, Russian, Spanish...)... then I close and open it again, and it's in English but without the default folder for templates and so on... so I have to set it every time... It is very frustrating as well as time consuming.
I already use the link with /language ENU or /language ITA at the end of the destination folder outside the quotations marks.
Somebody knows what it could be!?
@Anonymous hello, can i check with you, where did you change this "I already use the link with /language ENU or /language ITA at the end of the destination folder outside the quotations marks." thanks
Hi @ennujozlagam!
Last year, during a Revit course, in order to set the language of the sw they told me to insert in the destination folder inside the properties of the desktop icon link, after the quotation marks of the link, these exsetnsions:
/language ENU for English or /language ITA for Italian
like in the screenshot below
It was supposed to be a method to have the sw in two language easily.
Is this process correct? or not?
@Anonymous hello that is correct. that's the proper way of changing language. have you try to change all configurations from options (please see attached). worse scenario is try to unistall and reinstall the program, download from Autodesk Virtual Agent. thanks
Alternatively you check HERE prevous thread similar issues with yours.
